Cuidados
No mojar las plumas: se apelmazan y pierden el volumen, que es lo que hace funcionar ese extremo. Si se ensucian, sacudirlas y airearlas; para asentarlas, pasarlas con cuidado entre los dedos siguiendo su dirección natural. La paleta y la vara se limpian con un paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón neutro, y se secan bien; no sumergir la paleta, ya que el agua daña el material y sus costuras. Guardar colgada, con las plumas sin aplastar y la vara recta, en lugar fresco y seco y lejos de la luz directa y del calor. Revisar antes de cada uso las costuras de la paleta y su unión con la vara; no usar la pieza si algo está flojo, agrietado o descosido.

The paddle is compact with a pointed tip, the smallest striking surface in this family. That concentrates impact into a reduced area: the sensation is sharper and more defined than a wide paddle's, and it lets you work specific spots rather than broad surfaces.
The feathers are marabou, so the contrast is at its maximum. One end is about as soft as anything can be against skin, the other is precise and dry. Turning the piece in your hand changes everything without putting anything down.

Care Instructions
Do not wet the feathers: they clump and lose the volume that makes that end work. If they get dusty, shake them and air them out; to reset them, draw them carefully between your fingers along their natural direction. Clean the paddle and shaft with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap and dry well; do not submerge the paddle, as water damages the material and its stitching. Store hanging, with the feathers uncrushed and the shaft straight, in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Before each use, inspect the paddle stitching and its join to the shaft; don't use the piece if anything is loose, cracked or coming unstitched.
