Cuidados
No mojar el pompón: las plumas se apelmazan y pierden la forma esférica, que es lo que hace funcionar ese extremo. Si se ensucia, sacudirlo y airearlo; para devolverle el volumen, ahuecarlo con los dedos. La paleta y la vara se limpian con un paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón neutro, y se secan bien; no sumergir la paleta, ya que el agua daña el material y sus costuras. Guardar colgada, con el pompón sin aplastar y la vara recta, en lugar fresco y seco y lejos de la luz directa y del calor. Revisar antes de cada uso las costuras de la paleta y su unión con la vara; no usar la pieza si algo está flojo, agrietado o descosido.

The pom is what sets it apart within this family. Instead of a flat spray that fans in one direction, the feathers here form a sphere, so contact is the same from any angle. You can roll it across skin rather than only sweep it, giving a continuous graze a flat spray doesn't reproduce.

Care Instructions
Do not wet the pom: the feathers clump and lose the spherical shape that makes that end work. If it gets dusty, shake it and air it out; to restore the loft, fluff it with your fingers. Clean the paddle and shaft with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap and dry well; do not submerge the paddle, as water damages the material and its stitching. Store hanging, with the pom uncrushed and the shaft straight, in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Before each use, inspect the paddle stitching and its join to the shaft; don't use the piece if anything is loose, cracked or coming unstitched.
