Cuerda natural, sin más. La Tied Up de Master Series es una cuerda de yute trenzado de tres cabos, de fibra natural sin teñir, con 25 pies —unos 7,6 metros— de longitud y los extremos rematados con nudo.
El yute es la fibra tradicional de esta práctica y se comporta distinto a una cuerda sintética. Tiene mordiente: agarra sobre sí misma y los nudos se sostienen sin deslizarse. Es ligera, poco elástica y con textura, así que se siente sobre la piel en lugar de resbalar. El olor a fibra vegetal y el tono crudo son parte de lo que la gente busca en ella.
También es una fibra más áspera que el algodón o el nailon, y con el uso se ablanda y se vuelve más manejable.
Los 7,6 metros son una longitud de trabajo estándar: suficiente para ataduras de una zona concreta —muñecas, tobillos, torso simple— sin el volumen de una cuerda larga.

Cuidados
El yute no se lava con agua. Mojarlo lo debilita, lo endurece al secar y favorece el moho, sobre todo en un clima húmedo como el de Panamá. Si se ensucia, cepillar en seco. Airear la cuerda después de cada uso y guardarla enrollada en holgado, en un lugar fresco, seco y ventilado, nunca en una bolsa cerrada de plástico.
Revisar la cuerda entera antes de cada uso, pasándola por las manos de punta a punta: buscar zonas deshilachadas, adelgazadas, quemadas por fricción o con fibras rotas. Una cuerda con un punto débil se rompe justo donde no conviene. Retirar de servicio cualquier cuerda dañada.
El yute suelta fibra y pelusa, sobre todo al principio. Es normal y disminuye con el uso.

Natural rope, nothing more. The Master Series Tied Up is a three-strand twisted jute rope in undyed natural fibre, 25 feet — about 7.6 metres — with knotted ends.
Jute is the traditional fibre for this practice and behaves differently from synthetic rope. It has tooth: it grips against itself and knots hold without slipping. It's light, low-stretch and textured, so it registers on skin rather than sliding over it. The plant-fibre smell and raw tone are part of what draws people to it.
It's also coarser than cotton or nylon, and softens and becomes more manageable with use.
7.6 metres is a standard working length: enough for tying a single area — wrists, ankles, a simple torso harness — without the bulk of a long rope.

Care Instructions
Jute doesn't get washed with water. Wetting weakens it, hardens it as it dries and encourages mildew, particularly in a humid climate like Panama's. If it gets dirty, brush it dry. Air the rope after every use and store it loosely coiled somewhere cool, dry and ventilated — never in a sealed plastic bag.
Inspect the whole rope before every use, running it through your hands end to end: look for fraying, thinning, friction burns or broken fibres. A rope with a weak point fails exactly where you don't want it to. Retire any damaged rope.
Jute sheds fibre and lint, especially at first. That's normal and decreases with use.
