Muchas tiras y bastante peso. El Anaconda Flogger de Rouge es un flogger de cuero con caídas anchas en negro y burdeos alternados, mango revestido con remaches y correa de muñeca.

Cuidados

Limpiar las tiras y el mango con un paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón neutro, y secar bien. No sumergir: el agua endurece y agrieta el cuero, y unas caídas resecas se vuelven rígidas y cortantes. Un acondicionador para cuero cada cierto tiempo mantiene las tiras flexibles y suaves; en el clima de Panamá conviene airear la pieza con frecuencia para prevenir moho, sobre todo entre las caídas, donde el aire circula poco. Guardar siempre colgado por la correa, con las tiras cayendo libres. Un flogger guardado doblado o comprimido deforma las caídas de forma permanente. Lejos de la luz directa y del calor. Si las tiras se enredan, separarlas con los dedos en lugar de tirar. Revisar antes de cada uso el estado de las caídas, la unión con el mango y los remaches.

This is a premium piece, and the weight is what registers first. A solid leather flogger with this density of falls works differently from thin-stranded or synthetic ones: it weighs enough that the motion carries itself and impact lands with body rather than speed.

The falls are wide and flat. That spreads the strike over a fair amount of surface: the sensation is dull and enveloping, more weight than sting, which is what characterises a heavy leather flogger against a fine-stranded one.

Care Instructions

Clean the falls and handle with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap, and dry well. Do not submerge: water hardens and cracks leather, and dried-out falls turn stiff and cutting. Leather conditioner now and then keeps the falls supple and soft; in Panama's climate, air the piece frequently to prevent mildew, particularly between the falls where air barely circulates. Always store hanging by the loop, with the falls hanging free. A flogger stored folded or compressed distorts the falls permanently. Keep it away from direct light and heat. If the falls tangle, separate them with your fingers rather than pulling. Before each use, inspect the falls, the join to the handle and the rivets.
