Cuidados
Limpiar con un paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón neutro, y secar bien. No sumergir: el agua endurece y agrieta el cuero, y además empapa el relleno, que después no seca bien y termina oliendo. El interior está en contacto directo con la piel del cuello, así que conviene limpiarlo después de cada uso y dejarlo airear antes de guardar. Un acondicionador para cuero cada cierto tiempo mantiene la pieza flexible; en el clima de Panamá conviene airearla con frecuencia para prevenir moho, sobre todo por el acolchado. Guardar extendido o colgado, sin doblar en pliegues marcados, en lugar fresco y seco y lejos de la luz directa. Secar bien los herrajes para evitar oxidación. Revisar antes de cada uso el estado de la hebilla, los remaches, las costuras y la sujeción de cada argolla.

Care Instructions
Clean with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap, and dry well. Do not submerge: water hardens and cracks leather, and it soaks the padding, which then doesn't dry properly and ends up smelling. The inside sits directly against neck skin, so clean it after every use and let it air before storing. Leather conditioner now and then keeps the piece supple; in Panama's climate, air it frequently to prevent mildew, particularly because of the padding. Store flat or hanging, without sharp creases, in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Dry the hardware well to prevent rust.
