Sin mango, en la mano. El Pleasure Feather de Sportsheets es un ramo de plumas montado sobre una empuñadura corta con correa de muñeca elástica, en lugar de una vara larga.
La ausencia de mango cambia cómo se usa. Sin distancia de por medio, la pieza se maneja con la muñeca y no con el brazo, y eso da un control más fino sobre la presión y la dirección. Es un movimiento más cercano y más íntimo que el de un plumero con vara.
La correa de muñeca permite además soltarlo sin dejarlo caer, así que se puede alternar con las manos sin interrumpir.

Cuidados
No mojar las plumas: se apelmazan y pierden la forma. Si se ensucian, sacudirlas suavemente y airearlas; para reordenarlas, pasarlas con cuidado entre los dedos siguiendo su dirección natural. La empuñadura se limpia con un paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón neutro, y se seca bien, sin dejar que el agua llegue a la base de las plumas. Guardar colgado por la correa, con las plumas sin aplastar, en lugar fresco y seco y lejos de la luz directa, que decolora. Con el uso suelta alguna pluma, cosa normal en el material.

Losing the handle changes how it's used. With no distance in between, the piece moves from the wrist rather than the arm, which gives finer control over pressure and direction. It's a closer, more intimate motion than a shafted tickler's.
The wrist loop also lets you let go without dropping it, so you can alternate with your hands without breaking off.
The feathers combine two types. At the base sits short fluffy plumage, the softest part; fanning outward are long rooster feathers, firmer with defined tips. That mix gives two textures in a single pass: the soft cloud at the center and the sharper trace of the tips.

Care Instructions
Do not wet the feathers: they clump and lose their shape. If they get dusty, shake them gently and air them out; to reset them, draw them carefully between your fingers along their natural direction. Clean the grip with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild soap and dry well, without letting water reach the feather base. Store hanging by the loop, with the feathers uncrushed, in a cool, dry place away from direct light, which fades the color. It sheds the occasional feather with use, which is normal for the material.
