Modo de empleo

Revisar la pieza antes de cada uso. Pasar la mano por toda la superficie buscando astillas, grietas o bordes. Si hay cualquier daño visible, no usar y descartar la pieza. Es la única precaución realmente importante con vidrio.

Usar lubricante — menos que con silicona, pero siempre algo. Cualquier tipo funciona.

Para juego de temperatura: sumergir en un recipiente con agua fría o tibia durante unos minutos. Nunca usar agua hirviendo, congelador, microondas ni horno. Probar siempre la temperatura contra el antebrazo antes de usarla — la mucosa es mucho más sensible que la mano.

Ir despacio, sobre todo con el extremo texturizado. La curva está pensada para presión sostenida más que para movimiento rápido.

Lavar con agua tibia y jabón neutro o limpiador de juguetes. Se puede esterilizar hirviendo unos minutos —dejar que el agua y el vidrio se calienten juntos, no meterlo en agua ya hirviendo— o en lavavajillas en la bandeja superior. Secar y guardar en la bolsa de satén, sin contacto con otros objetos duros.

How to Use

Inspect the piece before every use. Run a hand over the whole surface checking for chips, cracks or edges. If there's any visible damage, don't use it — discard the piece. It's the one genuinely important precaution with glass.

Use lubricant — less than with silicone, but always some. Any type works.

For temperature play: submerge in a bowl of cold or warm water for a few minutes. Never use boiling water, a freezer, a microwave or an oven. Always test the temperature against your forearm before use — mucosa is far more sensitive than a hand.

Go slowly, particularly with the textured end. The curve is designed for sustained pressure rather than fast movement.

Wash with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner. It can be sterilised by boiling for a few minutes — let the water and glass heat together, don't drop it into already-boiling water — or on a dishwasher's top rack. Dry and store in the satin bag, away from other hard objects.
